The behaviour of a Bengal falls well with in the range of what is considered normal for Domestic Cats. Now that said, they do typically have strong personalities that might best be compared to the oriental cat breeds.
They are intelligent, energetic cats that generally display an intense interest in whats going on around them. They are very interactive and their personality lends its self to developing strong two way relationships. While there is a strong genetic aspect to their personalities, socialization, living conditions and health issues all play a large role as well. The range of personalities that are encountered in this breed never ceases to surprise me.
For the most part the Bengal makes it emotional state very apparent to anyone paying attention.
